It's a Season of Snow

So...there's quite a lot of snow!

Erm...this is my street! Although this was a good few days ago now so there is actually a whole lot more snow now! Yay! The lifts should be opening in the next couple of days...at last! And...I am now a cocktail barmaid donchaknow! So...lots of drinking and fun to come...and last night whilst doing my cocktail training I used snow to make cocktails because we ran out of ice!

Nearly...nearly...almost packed...

...it's been a funny few days...packing and shopping and freaking out...and then shopping some more when I realised that really nine lipsalves really wasn't going to be sufficient.
And then shopping some more...when I realised that I really was going to have to part with some cash for some seriously undesirable shoes which sadly have the potential to be far more efficient at keeping my feet dry than the lovely shoes that I really wanted. It was lovely Mock-Hiking Boots with Green flecked laces pitted against Black Welly/Heavy Soled Padded Yuckness...and the horrors won out.
...but...I have managed to do up the bag...so it must be nearly time to be off...eeeeeeeeeeeekkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!
